The Rania Experience draws its inspiration from the word “rani” (queen) in the Maldivian language of Dhivehi.

“The Rania Experience”, Asia’s first private island sanctuary with her own luxury yacht is situated in the middle of one of the largest lagoons in Faafu Atoll in the Maldives. This romantic private island sanctuary is a haven of relaxation, peace and tranquillity surrounded by clear blue waters and covered with tropical plants and coconut palms. The natural beauty of the island and lagoon, which is one of its kind, has been carefully preserved and integrated with the tastefully appointed accommodation and facilities to give the entire experience a stylish yet residential private island lifestyle feel. The yacht, the spa, varied food and beverage, choice of water sports and diving makes “The Rania Experience” a complete private island destination.
Both the yacht and island villa are stocked with every amenity to meet the exacting tastes of “The Rania Experience’s” cultured guests, who can also enjoy the dedicated services of an international team of chefs, PADI master dive instructor, spa
therapists and private butlers.
“The Rania Experience” is the only one of its kind in the whole of Asia that limits bookings exclusively to one private group at a time with a maximum of fifteen guests.

The Island
The Rania Suite is a 3 bedroom suite with a living room that is luxuriously designed and specially appointed to offer the ultimate experience in luxury, privacy and comfort.
The Beach villas are adjoining, luxuriously styled and are on the beach front within 5 metres of the lagoon. Each of our 3 beach villas has private verandas with sun beds, tropical outdoor showers in its own walled garden and an infinite feeling and concept of space.

The Spa
The Spa at “The Rania Experience” is a tranquil haven for the senses. The treatments incorporate the use of many principles of holistic health maintenance, herbal and beauty treatments. Stretched out on a white-sand beach under the dazzling glow of a perfect sunset, sheltered in the luxury of one’s own private suite or villa, or onboard the “Rania”, as she cruises the tranquil waters of the Indian Ocean, or on your own private beach, guests can indulge in a spa experience, where the settings are as enticing as the services themselves.
Under the skilled hands of experienced spa therapists, guests can enjoy a wide array of Thai and Ayurvedic treatments along with pampering body wraps and scrubs, facials, manicures and pedicures.

Big Game Fishing
Guests at “The Rania Experience” will find some of the areas best big game fishing in the waters surrounding their own private island. Amongst the regular catch here are Grouper, Wahoo, Jack Fish, Barracuda and the occasional huge Sailfish.

Private Picnic Experience
Spend an afternoon at your private sand bank with a gourmet picnic lunch. You can choose between a game of frisbee, snorkelling in the beautiful coral gardens, swim in the warm tropical waters of the Indian Ocean or just relax on the white sandy beaches and soak in the sun.

The overall food and beverage experience has been conceptualised keeping in mind that all guests will expect a varied and eclectic dining experience. A team of international chefs have taken care to plan for menus offering simplicity, creative infusions and universal flavours.
Our food & beverage philosophy is “an eclectic fusion of home, harmony and privacy” fused with the choice of “dine where and when you want”.
