Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) decides to take part in Outbound Travel Mart-Mumbai, India
Male’, 4 January 2010; Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tours operators has decided to take part in Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) to be held in Mumbai from 6-8 February 2010. This is first time the association is taking part in an international exhibition of this nature. The reason to take part in this fair was to promote Maldives in India. And also to enable our members to showcase their products to Indian market in line with the aim of the association. OTM is India’s leading travel show with clear focus on outbound travel. This fair would provide an opportunity for members of our association to showcase their products to a large cross-section of travel trade and consumers in all major target markets in India, just before the peak outbound season. With more than 1500 Exhibitors from 54 countries and 36 Indian States, an ever increasing number of foreign country representations, and a committed visitorship of more than 186,000 visitors. India is one of the fastest growing markets of outbound tourists. Even in the present economic scenario, the Indian economy continues to grow at about 6% every year. A market of over 10 million people traveling overseas and growing at 17% each year.
MATATO will hire a 9sqm stand for our members and participants. You may download the application form to participate OTM from our website www.matato.org.
